Maybe I'm missing something here, but recently I watched FMA and I wanted to see if there were some good AMVs done to the series...the key word there being "good". I found I could search for specific anime series, however for a series like FMA that brought up THOUSANDS of results. ...yeah, I'm not interested in watching THOUSANDS of FMA AMVs...really not. I'd rather just look at a few *REALLY GOOD* ones...unfortunately there didn't seem to be any way of refining the search criteria to search by...oh I dunno...number of opinions maybe? Overall rating maybe? Maybe by specific ratings? Really, *ANYTHING* that could turn those THOUSANDS of results into a more manageable number would be nice. It'd probably save a lot on bandwidth too since people won't have to go browsing through hundreds of pages of search results trying to find diamonds in all the rough so to speak.
I guess that brings up another point too...standards. This site has none...literally. I mean I could go right now and just slop together some pure bullshit, add on a random song, do a real piss poor encode and...hey! Yeah, it'd be up in a heartbeat, wasting resources and mucking up search results.
Now I'm not saying it should be turned into some kind of an editing elitists club or anything, just that, really, some bottom line ought to be established as far as acceptable quality.
