Let's see, I'm still fairly new to the site, as well as AMV making, but from what I read, I need to receive confirmation on an AMV if it may be borderline excessive violence. Don't want to be banned right when I first joined. ; ~;
My AMV consists of Claymore, with the song of James Blunt No Bravery. I'll try my best to break it down on the parts where I'm a little unsure if it's deemed appropriate or not.
The first would be around 0:33 where it shows a silhouette of a Yoma (Demon) eating a piece of flesh, although it's hard to tell at first since it's shadowed over. And soon after it just shows a torso of a woman, with some blood on her chest and neck. It only last a second or two.
The next would be a man on the floor with a shocked look on his face and blood under him, and some on him. Again, last only a second.
Next, is around 1:20, it shows some villagers slain, blood beneath them. Lasts one a second or two.
After that, it's not until 2:10 or so, it shows a Yoma still in his human form slain in half by the claymore Teresa, darken to be black and white.
2:25, FX made to show it in a shadowy red, it shows an older man's face ( Yoma in disguise ) and soon blood rising up from his wound, lasts a second.
After that, around 2:36, overlayed it shows one of the bandits from an episode being cut down kinda, it's a side show of his shoulders and face, and soon blood rushing out from his shoulder wound.
Next, is a villager being cut down by the bandit, him falling to his knees as blood comes forth.
And I think that's it.
Although, these scenes are in there in the first place to meld with the song, since to me it sounds like its' about turmoil and strife. So the scenes that depict either blood or act of violence is normally around the times where the lyrics are: "He has been here..." or "No Bravery..."
I don't know if that helps, but that it really.
