Few question I couldn't figure out myself...

And here they are, they are connected to the opinion scores on someone's AMVs..

1) When I check my profile and select a video from my AMVs list, the opinion scores there are all rounded up and they differ severely from the scores I actually got when I go to reply to opinions .. A simple example:

From - Scores at: viewopinions.php?vid_id=9102

Orig. Capture Sound Action Lip Effort Re-view Overall
9.40 9.20 9.30 9.10 9.10 9.50 8.30 9.20

To - Scores at: legacy/video.php?v=9102

Orig. Capture Sound Action Lip Effort Re-view Overall
9.00 9.00 8.50 9.00 9.00 9.00 8.00 9.00

There's a 0.325 average difference per score...
and it's this rounding up routine that bugs me... Sound.. from 9.3 to 8.5?

Can someone tell me the exact function that calculates these scores?
What is the threshold for adding scores? Which scores are ignored and which aren't? By some standard deviation threshold?

2) How is the ALL AROUND score calculated? I know the formula is

compscore = sum(nonNULL(avg(opinion.category))/count(nonNULL(avg(opinion.category)) except Overall and Re-view;
score = avg(compscore+overall+review)

But are the bases of the record "opinion." taken from viewopinions.php? or video.php?

I hope one can understand what I'm trying to ask here.. All my Engrish was learned from American blockbusters and HK movies, and they are not usually very fluent in tekkno mumbo jumbo :)

Except.. WE HAVE TO RECOMPENSATE THE DILITHIUM MATRIX!!! :D and stuff like that

Thanx in advance!

Trust me, everything works it's just there are things happening that you are unaware of.

For example, I believe that after a certain amount of opinions the highest and the lowest ones are disregarded. I don't know the exact details (as I dont have the old forum to search through) but there is a method to the apparent madness.
