codex error

Ive gotten this for the last 4 downloads, im not sure what the problem is, my comp the sight, or just bad luck on the things im trying to download, anyone have an idea

There's a program I came across a while back. Go to Google and type in GSpot. All you have to do is download the video you want to watch and open it into GSpot. All the data will come up for it, including the codec you need. Then it's just a simple matter of searching for the codec. Most of the time you can just search Google again. Also, if you already have a codec, but something's wrong it'll tell you how to fix it! You may just need a newer version of Media Player. I hope this helps!

thanks guys, im such a nOOb at this i was useing windows media player. Got a Divx player downloaded now and can see everything.
