suggestions for finding a site to host my vids

Postby axron27 » Sun Oct 27, 2002 10:11 am

i have a page on voyforums but it won't allow attachments. Friggin' yahoo -geocities- is useless because they won't allow users to transfer files that large plus they constantly kill sites no matter what the content. I think my question is pretty plain, however help forum queries tend to get "what do you mean?" or inappropriate responses. simply stated i want to post my vids to AMV and have it's members access them -don't say i can't upload to AMV; I know that- and i need to be referred to a free web hoster that would be appropriate for this task Thank you and happy splicing.

There's a sticky topic in general AMV all about hosting... there's also a big description of the facts in teh unoffical faq (link below). The site FAQ also states that a-m-v.org does not host videos.

If you bothered to read any of the above then you would know the answer.

I distinctly said that I know that AMV does not host videos. I'm having trouble navigating the page because I'm new to AMV so don't be so friggin' arrogant about my reading of faqs especially when you obviously didn't read my message carefully before you responded. you did exactly what i asked you and others not to do AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Don't get all shirty. I actually mixed the statements you'd made in another post about the uploading to the org thing. So I do apologise.

However, I did answer your frequently asked question.

The truth hurts. =P As much as we'd like to lie and say, "Sure go ahead and upload to a-m-v.org, here's the server info...", it's not happening right now. Getting mad at us for giving you information already listed in the FAQ's won't make anyone wanna help you any quicker.
