Can't input command from kb on main sight

Postby Knowname » Mon Sep 08, 2003 6:32 pm

whenever I try to type anything on the super search I get some kinda' debug error, abort retry ignore (if I abort it closes explorer altogether =o) (not a smile it was supposed to end with the gapping mouth...), and if I ignore it it crashes my browser. I tried IE and Opera and they do the same thing... I can apparently type in teh forum but any other time my typing skillz comes into play it crashes. It doesn't do that on other sites/ search engines... anything else??

found a work-around, kinda 'duh'. It's to write it down in an adjacent notepad file than copy the text to clipboard than paste it on the line you want etc. would still LOVE to fix this though...

sorry it took so long, I had to get back to my computer that crashes on me...

(to I think it was Lyres...) anyway, I found a workaround not a solution I'd like to find a final solution, thanks for the support though.

Phade,

the header is Microsoft C++ Debug Library

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: C:\Windows\Explorer.exe
File:dbgdel.cpp
Line: 47

Expression: _Block_type_is_valid[pHead->nBlockUse)

For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documemtation on asserts.

(press Retry to debug the application)

<abort> <retry> <fail>
press retry and explorer crashes

Hey,

It looks to me like there is a problem with Internet Explorer (C:\Windows\Explorer.exe). Are you using the latest version of IE? Have you tried Firebird? http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/
