Moderator Request: Shadowing threads

Postby AbsoluteDestiny » Thu Aug 08, 2002 4:25 pm

It's great to see threads being moved into their appropriate places, but I have one suggestion.

When moving a thread would a moderator please choose the option to leave a shadow thread. This will act as a link to the real thread but will mean that the person who originally posted the thread can find it when they look in the forum they originally posted.

Either that or could you maybe delete the "wrong forum" posts when the thread is moved so we don't look like (bigger) morons ^_^;;;

Thanks for your time ^_^

I would like to know who this mod is...this mask in the dark to save us from poorly posted posts of pointless ponderings....

The funny thing: it is in Site Suggestions now. Apparently 'The Agents' didn't heed AD's request, because they left doki's message :P

Well imagine that. :oops: Oh well, it's not really possible to tell that he did that, since the mods don't leave any notice. Blah blah blah, yakkity smackity...

and now the threads been moved to Site Announcements... ha ha ha

I like a good joke, but it would also be nice for the mystery thread moderator to actually respond the the query of the thread.

so who are the mods neway??
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all run around in a darkened room, munching pills, and listening to repetitive music~Kristian Wilson, CEO, Nintendo Gaming Corporation

damn...my dish is missing too.

anyway, why are the mods so mysterious. none of the forums say who the mods are. and i've never seen any orange (or green) names at the bottom of the forum homepage. come to think of it, i've only seen phades name there once. does he visit the site often?

He's just moved between states. Give him some time to settle in. :-)

Well, I'm pretty sure you haven't seen the mods yet, because I believe the are hidden when they come on. Whether this is the choice of the mods themselves, or just a precaution by Phade to keep people from bugging the mods to do things all the time, or become their friends so they'll delete other people's posts or something... *shrug* who knows. The latter of the two seems more likely to me.
