Help

Postby aclminmei » Tue Aug 19, 2003 10:13 pm

I'm a new member.

I tried registering my first AMV. But upon reaching the links page, it says that I did not enter anime and music selections (I did), and tells me to reinput them (same result)

Help me.

Here's my first AMV if you're interested.

Did you hit the 'Add' button after you chose the artist and song for the music section? The same for the anime, to add the choices before you hit the 'confirm' button and go on to the next section?

I just put in a vid then so the system is working fine.

Lets just walk throught this...
Click on edit videos
Click on the video
you are taken to Step 1: Info, happy with everything here? well lets move on then
Click the continue button in the lower right corner
okay step 2: music
Now pull down the list for artist and click on whoever
At this point the page should refresh
and now let you choose the song
but oh no the song is not there so click new song
then another window pops up and you type in the song and click add
The page should refresh again and now you choose the song in a similar way to how you did artist
But this time the page does not refresh you have to click add in the lower left corner.
Now it refreshes... and you can click continue
Now Step 3: anime
Click the first letter of your anime
You are taken to a page listing the anime with two check boxes next to it. One of these corresponds to spoilers (the one with s above it)
Click on whatever box
And then click add again it refreshes
Then click continue

And you are all done
I hope that helped. If there is something not happening say the page refreshing I suggest you have a look at your cookie settings.

I'm having the EXACT same problem. I follow all the instructions and get to the point where I've added the song and added the anime, but when I get to step 4 it magically forgets what I did. Oddly enough, step 1 works just fine. I guess that page is the least complicated.

I've set it to allow cookies from http://www.animemusicvideos.org ... Anyone know what's going on? I've got a dial-up modem and this was gonna be a good, free night to upload my video. Please help!

(BTW, my video is Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door set to "Song for the Deaf" by Queens of the Stone Age.)[/i]

(Whoa, you can't edit posted messages on this forum?)

Immediately after I posted the above reply, the upload thing suddenly worked. For some reason it only worked when I DIDN'T mark the check boxes for the anime & song. I'm referring to the check boxes that appear after you click "add" and you're on the screen where you can click "continue" (there's a list of every song & anime you've added, with checkboxes next to each).

I believe the check boxes you are talking about are for selecting things that you want to delete... which is why it wasn't working
