Too dumb for a website

Postby Seki The Ifrit » Sun Aug 17, 2003 10:42 pm

Hi, Can any help me find a guide that will tell me an easy way to set up a website that can be downloaded from. I enjoy making amv's but can't share them because I know nothing of programming in html. I can program in visual basic and whatever that crappy never used outside of a classroom language they taught me High school(I can't remeber its name), but I doubt either of these will help me too much. So if anyone knows of a link to a guide that helps with this stuff, it would be appreciated.

The animemusicvideos.org site allows you to upload videos to their server so you can share your vids.

Just log in and click enter new video follow the prompts. Enter in all the video information. Then go to upload video and get the details for the ftp (must have a ftp program like WS_FTP or cuteFTP) then upload it and check the file is okay (by downloading it) and ta da! your all done.

If you really want a html guide then search for one on google/yahoo. Thats what I did but that was years ago so I can't help you unless I dig around a bit.

Yah for uploading you should probly stick the the org. As far as your site goes you could just set up an easy one with geocities for free. They have a page builder thingy if you want that basically lets you just use your mouse to move everything around on the page :P
