Entering a video link giving me problems.

Postby TokyoU15 » Thu Aug 14, 2003 11:04 pm

ERROR: Link is not valid: Server - Not Found

Common Problems:
* Protocal required: http://, https://, ftp://
* No closing / at the end of a directory:
http://www.site.com/video/directory should be http://www.site.com/video/directory/
* You just typed the name in wrong. :-)

And all of said problems are not there with my link.

my link:

http://www.freekdesigns.com/senpai/redu ... ation.html

but the rules say you need a stupid "/" at the end! check this out:

http://www.freekdesigns.com/senpai/redu ... tion.html/

doesn't work! Why? Dunno, alls I know is it DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY AND IT'S REQUIRED TO BE PUT IN THAT WAY! It's really annoying me...what to do? :?:

Forgot to mention all my other videos entered in the database don't have the "/" at the end and they all work just fine.

Hey,

The closing / is for directories, not regular links to pages or files. From what you describe, it could have been that your server was not responding or not responding very quickly but it corrected itself later on.
