I'm dumb but...

Postby Xyle » Tue Jul 22, 2003 2:09 pm

Ok i'm dumb but can you delete your old videos from the database or whatever because none of my old videos work and i don't want people trying to download them... because they can't download them. Ok so, just someone tell me if you can or not, and if so, how?

I suggest you just remove any links to the videos on the edit page...deleting videos from the database is soemthing you cannot do...you could just rename them, or replace the entries with new videos...but for this situation, simply removing any links to the videos should suffice...a big red 'no' under download should hint the viewer that currently there is not an available link for that video...

Furthermore, if you feel that you must have any history of the video deleted and purged, you could try sending a private message to Phade.

But if my memory serves me right, he won't delete it.

Hey,

One of the major goals of the site is to catalog every AMV ever created, not just the ones that are available for download or just the good ones. Keeping the entry but removing the download links is perfectly fine. :-)

Damn, because I gave up on a vid of mine (it just won't debug no matter what) and I want it to be off my record since technically it never really was finished...

It won't happen though... will it?
