Can't "confirm video".

Postby .Skyfire » Mon Jul 21, 2003 7:16 pm

After uploading my video through ftp and then downloading it from the "confirm upload" page, where it worked properly, I am unable to give it final confirmation.

When I click the radio button next to the video title and then click the "confirm video" button, I receive the following error message from a new page which says;

"Warning: Rename failed (Invalid cross-device link) in /var/www/confirmupload.php on line 103
ERROR: Could move video to destination."

What does this mean? What am I doing wrong?

Hey,

Working on it. I'll let you know when it's ready. Sorry for the delay.

Wonder if I did that when I rebalanced the disks on pompom... Don't hack it too badly, that mess will vanish when Nago comes in.

I've sent a patch to phade. Hopefully, it will get fixed today...

PHP's rename function has an undocumented restriction that it can't rename across file systems.

Hey,

The patch is in place. Try it now and then try to download the video from your regular video listing. Let me know how it goes.
