AIM, Mozilla, and Site problem?

Postby Lyrs » Sat Jul 19, 2003 8:30 pm

Problem:

After logging into members, i click on the AIM Chat Room. AIM loads up and displays:

Could not join chat room. The name 'AnimeMusicVideos+dot+ORG' contains invalid characters.

In IE, the problem does not exist. Anybody else experience the same problem? If not, what am i doing wrong? I can still get on the Chat through IE so that's not a worry.

I discovered another problem with Mozilla while typing this post as well. Selecting and quoting doesn't work since the quoting will only appear after the last key.

Plus, i don't get the same automatic scrolling change that i get with IE. I have to click outside of this typebox before i can scroll the page, wheras if i don't it just scrolls what i typed here.

Either IM someone to invite you, or make a shortcut to your desktop through IE.

Add yourself you your friends list and invite yourself.

It's what I do. A desktop shortcut is a neat idea though.

I have it as a desktop shortcut, but the reason why it won't work in Opera is because of it's javascript settings, when I first got it, I didn't know why I couldn't click on certain things that were suppose to lead to different windows. If you use Opera, make sure that your windows and multimedia settings are set correctly.
