1st problem: This one is big for me, because my brother has been reading my Journal. I want to be able to log out of my account, except that it doesn't log me out. I'm always logged in.
2nd problem: Minor one, but still a problem. I can't change my skin for the website. It's the same one the entire time, no matter which skin I choose.

What browser are you using? If you're in ie 5+ Netscape 6+ or Mozilla, you should be able to click "logout" to log yourself out. If that doesn't work clear your cache.
You need to have cookies enabled to use skins. That may be your problem with logging in and out too.
Good luck, and remember, if all else fails, you can always purge your cache, history, and cookies to stop him from entering.
