how I make spoiler text?

Postby marthwmaster » Thu Aug 19, 2010 9:33 pm

Maybe I'm just imagining things, but I could've sworn that once or twice on this site, I've seen people use the thing where they conceal the part of their sentence that is a spoiler, and you have to click and drag over the text to read it. Can you do that here, and if so, how?

The button that says "spoiler" right above the full editor for adding a post.

Spoiler :
I know about this, what I'm looking for though is a feature to obscure the text without interrupting a paragraph. Is changing my font color to white the only way to do this here?

How would white work? The posts alternate shades of blue/gray.

That doesn't fix the problem they have with the spoiler tag in the first place.

Just get the colours of the forums background out and remember the next one will be changed. Also might be an issue when someone quotes you, because then the BG will be white.

Note: There are two forum themes that are available. While a lot of the older members were defaulted to subsilver2 when the forum was upgraded, new members, and whoever chose to switch, get prosilver.

Setting the text color to obscure text in one theme will not obscure it in the other as the colors are different in both the post backgrounds and the quote boxes... Just use the spoiler tag. :/
