Youtube= non-members watch videos (which seems to be the problem)
AMV ORG= YOu have to be amember to watch em and for some you have to be a donator.

And don't forget that you can't embed them offsite (yet?). I still say that the whole embedding thing was one of the biggest reasons that Hosatchel got as big as it did.

The main thing i like about this idea, is that it will allow me to check out more vids than i was previously able to do in the Announcements thread without having to worry about space actually downloading the vids. Not to mention I can choose wich ones I want to download and keep by how much I liked the preview. I kinda wish it was not limited to donators, for the reason above, but the fact that you allow the donators to allow non donators to be able to stream the vid kinda makes up for it.

That's exactly how it wound up working for me. I actually went out and looked for videos that weren't made by the same few editors. (I think you know who they are.)

I have to say, I'm really liking this new feature as well. I ended up spending a good chunk of this weekend re-watching some of the classics. Plenty of new videos too. I'm looking forward to see how all this will take shape over time, not to mention how it will effect my own viewing and downloading habits.

Is there anyway to add a Stat telling us how many time our videos or a video has been streamed?
