Way to pan a bunch of people's hard work done for free.

There are a couple designs I really like, but I wish had utilized the site color scheme better.

Amazingly enough, they don't all suck this year. Now don't screw it up.

Hehe... you can try, but I don't have problem fitting anything in banner. It's just another challenge ;+)

So...would the implication there be that it's because banners don't utilize the color scheme well enough or because there are just too many? Rolling your eyes doesn't really say anything except, "I think I'm better than you."

Wat? Banner makers can change the colors of any part of the logo, so their color schemes don't really matter.

I think he meant the logos don't really fit the main a-m-v.org page (the beige background)

If that's going to start drama, then I'll retract the statement. That's not my intention. I just fail to understand a random emoticon placed with multiple and different statements from other people. =\

They can be changed to whatever color the banner maker wants.

The the main logo (up on the top left) can't. If it doesn't match the site's color scheme, we're stuck with it for a year.

It feels like most logo designs fail to understand what it means to be a logo. Too much head room etc etc. Logo's need to be as simple as possible considering the human subconscious needs to absorb and recognize it within 3 to 5 seconds. Like a Nike logo or w/e, simple and everyone directly recognizes it. Most logo's are WAY too complicated with too many bells and whistles..

I voted for like 3 entry's that despite not being actual logo's felt decent from a design standpoint.. Where is the simplicity at people T_T Less is more...
