Hey cool, the flower thing won. And I was worried the voters would have an attack of taste and reject the blatant stereotype. I need to dig up some slogans from WWII anti-jap propaganda posters and make a few banners, they'd be a perfect fit with this logo.

I think he's referring to the one you made that looks like it could have been from the old batman and robin live action. In the show, whenever they hit someone, an image similar to that logo would spin onto the scene and have text like "POW!" inside of it.

I.E. Google images example

I was pretty sure that was the one he meant. I figured it was either that one or the clapboard. At any rate, yes, the yellow BANG one was mine, and yes, that was what I was going for. lol
