I would suggest not to...

That sounds like a veiled threat...

I suggested 'Best mod' in an attempt to suckup. Maybe that'll help?

It keeps me up all night having to delete all that, and then I get mena and cranky due to lack of sleep and then I might have to something about it

Seriously, though, it might be all fun to you, but it end up a lot of work here

So what you're saying is that I should start talking inthesto into submitting my worthless suggestions so that he gets the blame instead of me?

To treat the subject a tad more seriously, why are you guys having suggestions at all? In the last two or three years has there been a single suggestion accepted that wasn't a category already planned on? I suggest next year you just keep the same categories we have and keeping an eye on trends so you can add things when they become popular, like happened with 'Best MEP'.

Actually, that not quite true, I for one would love to see something that was orverlooked but fits into members voting... It's not easy to come up with something that is no too specific, a variation of somethign else or not plausable to a simple audiance voting system, nor does it mean there will be, but one never knows... If even one coll new category comes out of it, it's worth it... If you've entered Pro at AWA, the do the same thimg, and there has been a few really good suggestion over years....

I myself try to keep an open mind, but it get hard when there are so many ones that are there just to spite it all

This would indeed bring some credibility to the VCAs. Too bad your suggestion is here too late!

Seems the price for credibility is cheap these days :\

Excellent. Our anime society has already worked through every AMV we have - time to get another few thousand from the suggestions thread.

In case anybody's interested and has the right software, I've created a Calendar with the dates of events in the VCA - mostly for my own benefit, but I'll share it anyway:

http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/9t0p3s9kv9uvj8jilbj2kanu0s%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

I'll try and keep it up to date with any changes to the schedule as well, since I'll be following the VCA.

All videos are disqualified until you check the box in the VCA menu that says all your videos are listed in your profile.

So if I have like...a Final Fantasy VIII video, all of my entries are disqualified? I made the video like 5 years ago, but it's "non-anime", right? So do I have to remove it? X_X

I don't think it's because of that source, there are plenty of videos with that. Maybe because your first video has no premiere date?

What's up with the "potentially qualified" vs "qualified" categories? Should everything in the later be in the former if all of the factors are "no" and your profile is checked off as having all videos in your profile?
