Oh oh, this is what I was worried about. Because this is exactly what Chris (Akon Video Event head coordinator) has planned and even outlined on the Contest Distribution section of the site. Do you think it would be wise for me to contact him and discuss these plans in light of all this sudden "legality"?

Please. The the execution and withdrawl of Linkin Park as a permissible audio format from the AMV community is a dream the likes of which I dream upon every night. Hell, I've been dreaming that dream for the past seven years or so.

I have not read the entire thread so perhaps this is redundant, but I seriously hope another "fan" on this site isn't responsible for the "press" we got on AnimeNewsNetwork:

I don't imagine we need any more "press" and this certainly isn't helping to quell the thing. Probably more like lighting more fires and advertising to other music folks to come over here and shut us down -_-

Again I don't know if someone on this site is the one who felt like posting this, but not exactly the brightest idea.

Some of the ANN people do visit the Org once in a while.
