Forum Auto-Lock
Hey All,
Say “goodbye” to necroposting. The forums have now been outfitted with an “auto-lock” function. This will automatically lock threads older than a certain age. The thread age limit has been set for each forum, but the general rule is 90 days. If you need a follow-up on a thread that is more than 3 months old, it’s probably better to just start a new thread.
I hope this helps. Thanks again and have a great day!!

Sounds like a nice idea, but can you not do this with the screencap forum? The mecha, avatar, favorite angels, and Warm and Nice screncaps will all be locked and a lot of other great threads. It'll be very troublesome to have to make multiple threads for a covered topic. I don't see why that wouldn't be reasonable for the screencap forum.

Hey x_rex30,
The threads will still there to view and read whenever you like. The threads aren't being deleted at all. The thing is if nobody cares about the thread within 3 months, why would they suddenly care to post after that? If they do care, why not create a new thread instead of necroposting the old one?
