Changes in Banner Rules
Two rules changes:

Due to how hard it is to keep the phrase ANIMEMUSICVIDEOS.ORG readable in the logo—especially the letters E and R—you may now use the logo without that phrase. However, the phrase "AnimeMusicVideos.org" must still occur in the banner in such a way that it is obvious the banner is related to this site. You may take complete artistic freedom with it so long as it is easily readable.

You may not use the name or likeness of another member without permission (this hasn't ever been a problem, but it's a good thing to make clear). Note that this means if you do use the name or likeness of a member other than yourself, it may take a little longer for the banner to be approved while an admin confirms permission.

I'm updating the banner submission page now.

An odd thing happened today, two banners that were previously approved and pending vote were rejected 2 days later. The reason being, “The logo phrase font / position / size should not be altered.” Now I have no problem being rejected if I understand the reason, but I thought the phrase, “AnimeMusicVideos.Org” could be removed from the logo if it remained readable.
Maybe I misunderstand the level of readability that must be obtained. I can read this the banner below, but maybe that’s just me.

This banner, however, is readable if you can read.

Banner rule 4-3:
If the logo phrase is not used or readable, the added phrase should not be part or appear to be part of the logo.

The banner rules got changed again, and I'm not doing banner approvals anymore. Phade is making me spend my time on more important things, like moving servers and getting a development environment for .Org set up.
[Also, in general, banners get approved by admins [doki, now, I think], but can be un-approved by any moderator, so sometimes one will slip through admin approval by mistake, only to be caught later. This was especially common with my notorious inability to spell.]
