New Forum: Recommended AMVs

Postby AbsoluteDestiny » Thu Feb 17, 2005 8:25 am

There are often threads asking "What is the best **** amv" and these often generate some excellent viewing recommendations. This new forum is to collect these recommendations so that people can find very good videos in different genres, using certain shows, certian music etc.

Threads can only be made by admins so if you have any suggestions for new threads please post in Site Suggestions. There needs to be a lot of possible examples for a new thread to be created - "Best Hellsing AMVs using Gillbert and Sullivan" won't do :)

Please read the rules to the forum (listed in the announcement post at the top) before posting. Posts that do not follow the rules will be removed.

Great, another section I'll be compelled to read every day. :P
Seriously though, it's a good idea. It will really help free up General AMV for other topics. I'm all for it.

Hey, that's an excellent idea AD; but i dunno if create a new section by anime is really usefull ; yes, it's true there's a lot of vid using cb, nge or dbz but maybe it would be also interresting to create this king of category ("best amv using the anime....") for all the main series even if they're less famous, don't think?

Sure but with shows without many videos that's not much of a contest :P

Awesome. Unexpected, but I'm totally down with this section. Seeing how I often value recommendations (as I've found a lot of good stuff based on those), I can see this being very practical.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Fuck yeah. I'm not even gonna be all "I told you so" about it either although I totally thought of it first and nobody listened, okay, now I'm done. :P One of the best parts of the VCA season, all year long! Yay!

Thanks, PTBs. Will enjoy reading this.

Who says that nobody listened? I read your comment in scintilla's lj and thought it was a good idea.

The idea is absolutely great and I agree totally.
The only possible problem is that the rules could not be followed always well and in the end something would fall into chaos! But I don't think will happen ^_^ Great Idea, great one. Sadly with my dial-up I can't do much

It's an easy forum to moderate as people can only post in the topics that are agreed upon.
