Video Information Page Revised

Postby Phade » Wed Apr 14, 2004 1:21 pm

Hey All,

Following the example of the member main page and the super search, the video info page has been revised to use the new XHTML/CSS structure. The page file size is now 1/6th that of the original. This should make for faster page loads.

Thanks again and have fun!! ^_^

Phade.

PS.
You may need to shift-refresh the page to get the updated style sheet (hold down the shift key and hit the refresh button on your browser at the same time).

What I don't like is the way long anime names are split on two lines. (IE 6)

Hey Janzki,

Yeah, I put in a hanging indent for long names for non-IE browses, but IE thought that padding should be opaque instead of transparent like every other browser. This resulted in the first letters being chopped off, which really sucked. If I find a fix for it later, I'll put it in. If you find a fix for it, please let me know.

Phade: The submit opinion button seems to be missing on some pages now :?:
Example: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... .php?v=773

Shows up fine on some though...

Hey,

Shows up fine for me on IE, Firefox, and Opera on WinXP. Are you sure you're logged into the main site? If not, the rank position option will not show up. This is by design.

Yep, I'm logged in. I get the same result with either Firefox or IE. Some vids are showing the submit opinion link and others arent :|

Hey,

Ohhhhhh, the opinion submit. If you have submitted an opinion for the video, the opinion option will not appear.

To make things even more interesting, the submit option is showing for me in IE6, but not in firefox 0.8.
