The theory behind the inviso-mods/admins was a good one in THEORY, but a poor one in practice. The idea was that most of these invisible moderators go to conventions, as do alot of the people that frequent these boards. The problem would be that if someone was lets say... unstable, that a forum gripe could turn into a VERY real physical altercation outside of the forums. This was meant to combat this perceived threat. In reality, most people, no matter how crazy their internet persona may be, are actually well adjusted people in real life. But there is still that 1% that MIGHT do something. I am in favor of any moderator that reads this to speak up, give their name, and speak their piece.

Isn't there an equal risk that I, or someone else will come up and break jBone's (Or some other dick) knee caps with a baseball bat at a random con?

Uhm is it really wise to be discussing who the mods are in this thread? Shouldn't we respect the wishes of Phade and not publically announce them? I mean sure some are obvious, but it doesn't mean it's the best thing to be doing.

**cough** Moderator pig bastard **cough cough***

As one helper admin to another (for now, please don't toss me away Danny ), I just want to say that it's not a good idea to think about usurping the power of the head admin.

I know you're thinking of that, AbsoluteLimey, and I wouldn't suggest it. Phade's a hard man, a borderline sadist, and he'll chew you up, then spit you out, into the internet gutter.

Write my words off as "ha ha funnies" or "you've had too much red wine tonight", but mark my words, boy, it's not worth the hell you will go through!

Where the hell did this comment come from????

I *can't* usurp Phade's power and nor would I want to. I'm actually very glad that I don't run the site as it's like far too much trouble than it's worth.
