Problem with AVS output..

Any idea what this is and how to fix it? It doesnt really bother the play of the video I think but it's rly bothering me lol

looks like blending to me.
where did you get your dvd(s) that you're using?

I don't know how to fix blending though...(never had to deal with it)

Definitely blending. Taken straight from EADFAG:

><, Great lol, I tryed IVTC and some other things, didn't really help. Guess I'll just use it as it is, or find another anime.


Anyway I got the DVD from amazon, since I couldn't find it anywhere else (Battle Angel Alita 1999) But the copy is the original one, pretty decent quality besides the blending.

Considering how old the anime is (and the DVD), blending is fairly common. Expect this from most video (non-film) anime prior to the mid 90's. Especially if it was created from hand-drawn cels with a relatively low frame rate (animated in 3's or 4's).
