source means the footage you edited with.
you're done though. so you need to encode this with xvid

Well I fixed the audio issue but the video quality keeps changing when converting to Xvid. It's reminds me of when you make a low quality gif, just in video form =P

ya know, i had this problem once when i did my kill sephiroth amv.
all xvid encodes came out hella blocky.
so i uninstalled the xvid that came with amvapp, and got the new version of xvid.

I just tried doing this and it still seems to be lower quality :cry:

try an mpeg format

Well I fixed the problem.

When I was saving the file from vegas I must have changed some settings that lowered the quality when saving. So because I didn't check when loading to VirtualDub and converted straight to Xvid or Divx, I didn't notice it until I restarted my PC.

Thanks for help! I found some new settings and fixed the audio 8-)
