could have sworn it came with a filter for this :/
anyone have a download link for a pan and crop filter?

If you don't have any filters on there yet use the "null transform" and then just change the cropping on it. Otherwise adjust the cropping on the last filter in the list.

ah, null transform. that was it.
i knew i had done it before, but my eyes were looking for something more literal (pan/crop) while i scanned thorugh the list

There you find a plenty amount of filters for AviSynth and VirtualDub, including a pan filter.

thats the first place i looked. didn't find it, but now i see it (had to use the search)
already got my footage encoded via null transform. thanks though
