A huge problem...

Post by Cagari » Thu Oct 05, 2006 10:07 pm

It's a bit of a long story...but...I really need to solve this...I can't make a single video at the moment because of it...
I went to get the new version of WMM(version 2. something I think...) and installed it. When I opened up WMM, everything seemed to be normal until I transferred a clip onto the board. WMM then forced me out.
I thought that was strange, considering that I had all of the codecs and I didn't have a problem with the clips before. I went to Tools<<Options, and I saw that my "Accessibility" option was gone. Yes gone. The area where you can select codecs and stuff, gone.
Please help me....TT_TT

Don't use DivX/XviD-encoded clips in your editing programs!!!

you could try uninstalling and reinstalling your codec pack.

The strange thing is, before I installed WMM2, everything was ok; I could access the Accessibility option under the Options area. But after I installed WMM2, it just disappeared...

I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the codecs, but it didn't work...did anybody else have this problem when they tried to install WMM2?

What do you mean by "source"?

The video clips you're putting into WMM2, therefore, your source footage.

Most are WMV, but most of them don't work...some do, but not all...I have no idea why. O_O
