Ripping console game videos...
Hello people,
I've got a question: can anyone help me with ripping videos from my console games?
What I've got:
* PS2 + games: Kingdom Hearts I, Final Fantasy X, Final Fanatsy X-2
* GameCube + games: Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
* Computer + hardware: Tv card (I have to ask my mum about how to install it/use it/what type it is.)
What I want:
* Advice
* Ripped videos from the games I own.
Thus far I use http://www.kh-vids.net/ for my Kingdom Hearts videos, but I prefer better quality.
So... Can you help me?
Sincerely,
~Aerendyl

although these haven't seemed to help [much] for some ps2 games (KH, KH2, FFX and X-2 come to mind) it should give you a basis for using video game footage
but your best bet (especially for the gamecube games...probably for the ps2 games I metnioned above) is to capture them as you play.
You say you have a tv card...and that might work (depends on if you have a composite video in [the yellow a/v thing]...though you could just use the antenna in if you had an rf adapter), if not then you would need something like this
or if you just want video (no audio) this would also work
you may also need an emulator (so that you can record while you play) depending on what software your tv card came with.
Fraps can do this (though not completely free) and is lisetd in one of the two threads I linked to above
