Hello!
I seem to be having an issue with Windows Movie Maker 2.0. I'm aware that the program has a legecy for crashing, but I've been using the program for years, and it has never acted THIS buggy. Anyway, I think the issue has something to do with Haali Media Splitter and FFDShow. The reason? Because whenever I try to make a video, TONS of the FFDShow and Haali icons appear in my Icon Tray at the bottom right hand corner of the moniter (Y'know, next to the clock, etc.). This causes the program to freeze up and it says "Not Responding".
So, the normal responce here is: "Why don't you uninstall Haali and FFDShow?" Well, I tried that and even the .avi's, .mpg''s, and so on that I had BEFORE I installed these programs won't work if I uninstall.
My question now becomes: Where do I go from here? Is there a way for me to get rid of Haali/FFDShow and still salvage my video files? Is there simply a better (Free/Shareware) program I can use to make movies where this strange event doesn't occur? Please help me out, thank you.

Tashani
