Premiere Pro 2.0 and Avisynth scripts
Okay, I have Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and for some reason it won't allow me to import .avs files for video editing. I have the AMVapp installed, which was supposed to have a plugin to let me edit .avs files in Premiere Pro, but I don't know if it works on 2.0. Anyone have any words of advice or wisdom on the subject?

I remember having problems with avs import.
the link sends you to a version known to support premiere pro.
follow the general directions found here

what is the error you see when you try to import the avs script?
make sure that your project settings are a perfect match with the video settings that you import into the avs script.
framerate, resolution, etc
I think that the settings only matter at the end of your avisynth script...so if you put assumefps(24) at the end of your script with 23.987 fps footage and your project setting is at 24 fps...it should work

General Comment: Premiere Pro 7.0 (the version before Pro 2.0) is a better version in a lot of video author's opinions because you have more control over the project settings than you do in 2.0, and because it has native Avisynth plug-in compatibility out-of-the-box.
I have both 7.0 and 2.0 (along wigh Sony Vegas) and it appears Adobe actually made 2.0 slower in a lot of respects by adding features -- actual program features -- You don't need like the auto-scrolling of the timeline when you playback and other things that could have gone to actual editing functionality in my opinion.
