screen shaking effect

Postby Scotty_was_Taken » Thu Sep 14, 2006 7:05 am

hello all

ive seen lots of videos get this sort of screen rumbling effect on some action clips, sorta like the screen moves from side to side like someone is shaking it... i was wondering if anyone could tell me how thats done. i looked through hundreds of effects in premiere pro 2.0 and havent found anything that closely relates... is there any extra programs i need? ive downloaded a huge file from here a while ago with like dvd decoders and about 10 other "helpful programs" but that was a while ago i duno where they all are

any help would be greatly appreciated

Use the motion settings or keyframe the transform effect in Premiere Pro.

"the" transform effect? since theres like 9, which one have you given the label "The" to?

the movement settings seemed to just move the clip to the side...where it sat, no shaking

thanks anyway

Click the stopwatch next to position and Keyframe how you want the clip to move around the screen. You'll get the hang of it eventually.
