Issues with .avs

Postby EternalIceStorm » Mon Sep 11, 2006 6:27 am

Okay, so I download the raw footage of Air and did the .avs and did AViSource blah blah blah. Well, before I formatted my computer before, it worked with someother footage I had since I was testing it to see if it would work. Well, now when I do it, it says, "Error initializing audio strem decompressions: The requested conversion is not possible. Check to make sure you have the required codec." But like, I have all the same codecs I had before I formatted, so I have no idea what is going on.

To find out whats up, you need to figure out what audio codec is required. You can use a tool like MediaInfo to check your file.

Additionally, assuming that you don't even need the audio stream, you can add 'audio=false' to stop it from being loaded, like this:
AVISource("air.avi", audio=false)
