You know you may need a diferent script for every series, right?

ya i know. i made a generic code that i will edit per series. i will edit the generic code if i get feedback that gives me a better coding. i am going to be using the bait and switch techneeqe. i should have enough space for the crapy avi i saved i am just going to use divx. and the bait and switch when i am done. i realize it will take days maybe weeks to finish it all off but i'll be able to make amvs without having to take the time to rip the anime. if i have to take the time to rip all the episodes i need eveytime i have an idea i'll lose insperation. this will save me alot of time in the long run.

so far it only take 1 hour 30 min per episode (24-30 min) so it should be fine. i am just wondering if there is a faster way or a way of making my vid quality better.

PS: thank you, everybody for all your help. i hope i will make AMVs worthy of your pallet.

How are you going to back up all those series though? If you're editing with low quality files, and using the bait and switch technique you're going to need to have HuffYUF or Lagrynth files somewhere... and a single episode encoded like that is still bigger than a DVD 5.

huh?

Are you backing up those files in HuffYUF/Lagyrinth or not? When you posted earlier, it seemed like you were saying you were. For an episode, that's on the order of 20 to 60 GB each. Just wanted to point that out... Mayhaps I misread your post.

Well, have fun with that then. Premiere hates DivX files dispite the fact vicbond suggests using it in that guide of his. Other software is touch and go at best.
