Using DVD footage in Windows Movie Maker

I;m having problems ripping video clips off of my DVD that I can use in the WIndows Movie Maker, all the clips are in Nero format or something and WMM won't recongnixe them. Is there another ripping porgram I can use out there, or a way to convert the files, I;m using DVD Shrink

Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides.

Basically, what you should do is rip the vobs you need, then index them so that they're easier to work with, and then you make an avisynth script that works with the d2v file. What you do then is up to you.
