ive only been making amvs for a month i learned some tricks in wondows movie maker i have made about 45 vids so far... im moving on to sony vegas movie studio 6.0 i put together the vid on windows movie maker then import on vegas movie studio 6.0 then add effects and stuff but when i save in to a movie abd watch on windows media player its shortned to about 25 sec if i save in wmv format it has no sound and its shortened same thing with avi but it has sound....

is it something wrong with codec or converter plz help

From what I gather, you're making the video in WMM and then importing it in Vegas to add effects? DON'T DO THAT. Your final video will look like crap if you do. Instead, do the entire editing in Vegas.

Your post is really confusing so I can't understand what happens with your audio. Please reiterate.
