Cutting Video

Postby Lieg » Tue Aug 08, 2006 11:37 pm

I have a video that I want to share with my friends from the family beach house, but I need to cut out the last ten minutes or so. It wont play on my windows media player, so I doubt it will work on my windows movie maker. Are there any free, fast programs that are simple to use for just cutting the last few minutes?

assuming that you have the proper codecs to play said video, chances are that VirtualDubMod will be able to play it.
you can use the mark out button on the bottom to cut out extra stuff...then you can save it as avi, but use direct stream copy (to avoid recompression)
