b28: premiere.exe - Unable To Locate Component

Postby -Elin- » Fri Aug 04, 2006 5:39 pm

When I try to open my premiere this message appears:

"Thie application has failed to start because MSVCR70D.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I tried Uninstalling it, but it wouldn't allow me, I also just tried to Install Premiere and that wouldn't allow me either.

Someone please help.

The Adobe Premiere Pro Trial installs a weird version of their ASIO driver. Move MSVCR70D.dll from the Premiere installation folder to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32.

If you can't find the missing dll, you could download it. At your own risk, of course.

New Problem now, i fixed some problems, they were caused because I shifted over my premiere pro plug-ins into premiere 6.5, and its a premiere 6.5 problem not premiere, i dont know how to solve this one.

The procedure entry point psetGetDoKeyframeEveryNFrames could not be located in the dynamic link library PremInfo.dll.

You'll need to totally remove all versions of Premiere you have and reinstall. If it won't let you uninstall, it might be that the version has a trial period protection running, such as Armadillo or ExeShield. You can try to fix it with
TrialReset. This solved a similar problem with FRAPs.
