Diva Problems

Postby Zaise Chza » Sat Jul 15, 2006 6:49 am

OK, so I downloaded Diva so I could put the stuff I riped from DvDs to my computer, but now it keeps on quitting on me before it converts the file into .mov. If there are any other programs that do something like that, and is easy to use, I would greatly apriciate it if you guys could give me a link to where I could download it.

Er. This is the correct forum (unless it was moved?)

And I am afraid, DiVA is all you have. I'm guessing you read my mini-mac-guide. Can you describe your problems in detail and tell me what system specs you're running? I have no issues at all with DiVA, and my mac isn't super or anything.

Theoretically, one can also use the Blender video sequence editor (it's been used to edit a couple of films, and it's pretty intuitive IMO).
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 512 character limit.

Hadn't thought of that. Still, DiVA shouldn't be causing any issues.

May I ask which software you used to rip your DVDs with?

To answer your question Kionon, I am using a G4 iBook with 10.4 (aka Tiger) my ripper is 'mac the ripper' and what it's doing is that everytime I rip a dvd it lets me convert one .vob, but after that one .vob it unexpectedly everytime I tell it to select source. and my editing program is iMovie version 4. If you still need info on my computer specs I'll tell you what I know.
