Batch File Recompression

Postby DJ_Izumi » Tue Jun 27, 2006 10:47 am

My situation is as follows, with VOBs and final renders removed, the folder for my latest video is 5.7GB I want to fit it on a single DVD-R. Using MSU Lossless in it's 'Balanced' mode I should be able to recompress the files enough so it'll fit on a single DVD-R.

The problem is I have a lot of Lagarith AVI files that would need to be recompressed, I was wondering if someone could list a batch recompression tool I could use, where I just give it the list of files, the codecs to be used, and let it rip while it makes new files with the different lossless codec but copy it all to another folder.

My hope is that dispite doing this recompression, I can still have all the file names identical and so Premiere can load the project no problem except having to check the location of the files.
