Windows Movie Maker.

Theres also something for linux, I forget what it's called, but I'm sure it is far superior to Windows Movie Maker.

You're probably thinking of Cinelerra, Z. I haven't really been able to figure out how to use it right yet, though. There is another program that is not free (there is/was a free demo of it around, though) for both Windows and Linux that was only like $40 or so, but it couldn't do things I needed like slowing down or speeding up clips easily so I dropped it. Gah, I wish I could remember what it was called or what the company was...

I too was lookin for a video editor (found one)

Anyway, It's not the greatest, but it is free, or the trial version is. But its not a limited time or anything. I think at the end of your movie (or beggining) it puts up something sayin that the video was made with MovieXone. Thats it's name. Anyway, I think it's pretty good, although I've only had it for umm..maybe 10 minutes. Anyway here's the link
http://www.aistinc.com yeah, thats it. Anway, downloads and then MovieXone, or if not that its somewhere's on that site. Sorry about the lenghthy reply. Oh yeah, its 26 megs, give or take 500 kb. Seeya.

P.S. If you know where to get any video rescources (like video footage to use in my own vid) or any other must have, it would also be appreciated. Thanks,

LP

Eh, best sources of video footage are, believe it or not, the actual dvds. No, really.

Yeah, but I'm on a crappy computer

Postby LordPhoenix » Fri Nov 29, 2002 3:01 am

My computer...well, its only 233megahertz, that says it all. Why do I have such a crappy computer? When my brother moved out (thank god for that) he took my alienware!!! (thrown stones and curses at god for that) so, I'm stuck with this IBM laptop computer at 233 megahertz with only a 4 gig drive...yes, poor me.
