Truth is, there really isn't anything freeware that is worth using, with the exception on Windows Movie Maker. More recent releases of Windows (ME, XP) have this included. Some people (like mexicanjunior) swear by it, others tend to swear at it.

Take your query over to another part of this forum (like video software help) and you'll see questions such as yours have been answered already.

Mods, please feel to lock, move, delete.

 Whoops, i didnt know about that rule....now i do....still,i have an opinion i would like to share...

But comeon!!! These kinda sites rescue the avg person from the monopoly on the software industry, who make a killing on the programs they sell which are grossly and ridiculously overpriced! AU$1000 for adobe premiere 6.5!! i wouldnt piss on that to put out a fire!!! Theres not a whole hell of a lot that can be done about file sharing anyway, because theres a by-law or a loophole SOMEWHERE that permits it. Anyway, what us little people are doing here (making Mvids) is illigal as it uses poached/ripped/captured footage!! If u live in a glass house, DONT THROW STONES!!!!!

The person asked a question, i answered it!! Gimme a break here!!

Making music videos isn't illegal, as long as you legally own or have permission to use all of the sources contained in it. Also premiere can be obtained for qute cheap if you know where to look. You can get it bundled with a nice capture card for like half the price you would pay for premiere alone. Also with a student discount I think it can be had for something like $100-200. Even still, there's other editing software out there thats much cheaper. In fact, I'm about to go try that freeware video editor for linux as soon as I get some time on my hands...

No, it's not easy to learn. No, it's not Adobe. No, it's not Apple.
No, it's not Microsoft.
But yes, it's free, in terms of money.
