Adobe Premiere. It costs $600 I believe, but can be bought with the Pinnacle Systems DV500 Realtime DV Editing Card for $500.

Adobe Premiere with a DV card (preferably 500) This is all expensive though so it depends on your budget.

Premiere can also be bought with the ADS PlatinumDV card for around $250 or so.

Well....

I have a LEGAL FREE way of getting Adobe premiere on your system.

Download the Trail version from their site and install it Go nuts and make our movie but be sure to complete it before the trial period expires. When the trial period expires (I think it's 1 month) you can Deltree windows and re-install it along with the trial period of Premiere again.

Repeat this cycle until you get fed up / get enough cash to buy it / deside to use other means ......

You REALLY should buy it and all the anime's you intend to use. In the end it works best for everybody.

Cheers vir eers.

Deltree windows...? ARE YOU INSANE!!!
Don't you mean to just deltree the files related to Premiere?
If you aer willing to remove and reinstall windows for an AMV my heart bleeds for you.

Actually gypsy, I dont think that method is quite legal. I'm pretty sure when you install the trial version you are agreeing to try it for no more than 30 days, then if you install it again to renew your trial period you are essentially breaking that agreement

Well.....

That stands in the agreement ??

I think the only time I actually sat down and read such and agreement was when I bought C&C Red Alert. I read every word of it and cant remember any of it.

I think that was about 8 years back :?

I never read those ageements (and I dont think there are many of us who actually do). I simply dont have the time.

I also don't care. If you like the software I'll buy it. Else I wont or use demos/trialversions.

Guess I should read it next time I install less I get sewed for thousands of rands.

And to answer The Wired Knight's answer I dont re-install windows simply for a AMV.

I re-install windows as soon as it gives me just a bit of crap/takes too long to start up / I feel like it. It only takes up about 1 hour. And it keeps windows clean, fast and effecient. 8)

Cheers vir eers.

Well I am personally against illegal pirate programs and am glad to say there are none on any of my comps...I have downloaded anime, to check out a few episodes, but then went it got the dvd or vid depending on availablity...I downloaded the whole of Noir to watch it and well it is no longer on my comp, because after I watched it I deleted it. When I can I will get the whole series on dvd or vid...I have used trials to see if I like them and then went and got the software...

Yesss. Wellll....

I get anime from a vast amount of people. I buy the good ones and delete to boring to ok ones.

I am currently waiting for bondai (I think) to finish making Noir in English and then I will order the DVD. As I have done with Evangelion, and a few other Anime's.

One thing I dont delete though is everybody's AMV's 8) :D

I currently have 8.4 gig's of AMV's. and it grows with about 300 megs per weekend.

All there AMV's are listed in an excel file with links to the creator's website (f available, band song, e-mail and even (yes I know I'm crazy ) the file size in bytes !!! :P

Guess we're really off topic but the point I want to make is that I've watched A-LOT of anime and EVEN MORE music video's.

But I do support companies that make good programs and the good anime's I'll order. I am against piracy if anybody asks. 8)

Cheers vir eers.
