Where can I find a guide for creating DVD menus?

Postby The Zero Saber » Tue Nov 05, 2002 4:04 pm

I am totally clueless on this topic but I wanna make a SVCD, with picture menus so my friends can easily pick my videos they want to watch from the disc. Any help? I'm pretty familiar in image editing, but have never done anything for dvd menus. Any links to guides on this topic would be very helpful. Thanks.

Try the demo version of Ulead DVD producer, it also lets you make VCDs and the likes therof. You can't do TOO much with it in the way of originality and creativity but if what you want is a simple means of distribution then it's good. Like I said, it's a free trial so go ahead and test it out.

DVD producer is pretty limited, if you want to make the menus yourself VCDEasy is the simplest and best authoring software imo and if you want to confuse yourself use TSCV, it has its own motion menu generator but I've never gotten it to work right plus it seems to be a discontinued project as the last update was in april :/
