OK, I KNOW that people are interested in this so I'm just made a new title to get more people's attention...
Mods you can just erase the other one.

Hey everyone. Was looking through a bunch of tools and it turns out that a guy at PS2MODSPARADISE has developed a tool to extract MGS2 PSS files from the movies file archive.

I've tried it and it works, but with one very bad catch:
The output PSS files don't seem to be a conventional form of video. The only tool that I've been able to open the PSS files in is DVD2AVI surprisingly. But of course there is no sound and every some frames the pixels mess up like it's from a really bad DivX encode.

So here's the tool....I'm hoping that someone can figure this out. If you know any programmer guys or something have them take a look at this. Once you see for yourself you can tell how incredibly fustrated I am to be this close, yet so far.

NOTES:
-Click and drag the MOVIES.DAT file from the MGS2 disc in the same directory as the tool. they will extract to the C: directory.
- The file you may want to check first is Movie41.pss since it's the opening sequence.
- Good luck. You may be the hero of many people if you figure this out.
