Postby SS5_Majin_Bebi » Tue Oct 29, 2002 10:02 pm

I need some assistance. The other day i was making an Mvid, and when i exported it, it wound up as...wait for it...a 975 meg AVI!!! 975 megs, i couldve puked!!! How do i reduce this whopping file size down to something manageable like 45-50 megs? Just post the settings thatl let me do this. Im using Adobe Premiere 6.5.

This also belongs over in Video Software Help...

What resolution is this video in? XviD makes for a lot of compression with very good quality. Might also consider converting to MPEG-1; I've had good results with that with the things I've done thus far.

You could prolly use tmpeg to make the high quallity avi file into a nice compact mpeg file.

Export in Huffyuv which will leave you with AT LEAST a 500 mb file.

Then compress it in Virtual Dub or TMPegEnc as stated when you Read Ermac and Absolute Destinies Freindly Animemusicvideo Guide.

Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides
This should leave you with a 50 meg file. Depending on your settings.
