Export from Premiere 6.5 into TMPGEnc

Postby Bushido Philosopher » Tue Oct 22, 2002 9:19 pm

I'm having a little bit of trouble getting the Frameserver to get my Premiere project into TMPGEnc.

I have the latest version of AVISynth and Premiere video server plug-in.

I try to export through the video server so I can encode the output in TMPGEnc Plus.

However, when I try to import the AVS file that says IPC server it says that it can't load the IPCserver dll file.

Formerly there was a IPCsource AVI file that was created, but instead there is this avs file, and also instead of saying Video Server in the Premiere output window it says Export through AVI Synth. So I have a big feeling that I'm doing something wrong and/or Windows XP and/or Premiere 6.5 is making it not work.

Please help, this is getting on my nerves.

OK my bad.....figured out the problem.
I'll put down the solution for reference.

The AVISynth plug-ins for Premiere are defaulted to install into Premiere 6.0's plug-ins folder.
Since I have 6.5, the program did not detect the plug-in since it was not 6.5's plug-in folder.

Kinda stupid and obvious when you think about it....
