Cinema 4d

Postby jonmartensen » Fri Oct 11, 2002 3:28 pm

I have access to a licensed copy of cinema 4d through my school and have done some animations with it. What I want to do is add them to my AMV, mainly for the info page.

Problem is cinema only exports to video in really crappy DV AVI and super high quality Quick Time. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could add the Quick time video via premier to my AMV, or if there is an editing program that can convert and add a quick time video to a real media or mpeg video (as in I render the video and then add the quick time clip to it).

?

If Cinema4D is worth its professional salt(and should be, as the Dangermouse stuff is being done with it), then it should be able to export in a TGA or other-such image sequence. These are then trivial to stick together in any editing program.

Although I'm curious about the "crappy DV". Is it using a codec within the system, or is C4D actually creating the DV stream itself?
