downloadable movie makers?

i'm a bit new to creating amvs..
the movie maker (thing, w/e you call um) that i have had come with my computer and when i turn the full amvs into files they come out really crappy and blurry...
can anyone tell me of another (good) movie maker that i can download free of charge?

so..when you export the final product, it comes out all crappy eh?...well first of all, what kind of files are you using?...if this is your first amv, I wouldn't recommend using mpeg or divx files...or..make sure the framerate settings on the "video maker" of yours are the same as the footage you're using....or, maybe you're exporting with a bad codec.....if it's neither of those above, then I really haven't been of any help :?

btw, what are you using to make your vids currently?

Make sure you know how to use Windows Media Maker, if that's what you are using. You may have turned down quality to crap or you just don't know what kps is considered good.

the best solution is to learn how to use your software.

Here's a site where you can find several "editing software", none of them are really great, but try them either way.

well i tried each quality, every one is comes out crappy, and i'm not sure it lets me make the videos in .mpeg files, my files only play on windows media player.. so um.. they're windows media audio files... sucky...

Make sure your source is near perfect as possible! If you're using footage from other AMV's, it's likely going to be "not great."

Make sure you set the bitrate to at least 705kbps before ripping the quality. Awesome video quality doesn't always = good video btw. :wink:
